	Can I reuse the tray?
	We recommend that you don’t. It was not designed as a permanent container.
	Is it safe to use the product once it is thawed?
	We do not recommend using any LEAN CUISINE® product if it is thawed.
	Is the tray recyclable?
	Our trays are made from CPET, a crystallized form of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and are marked with an SPI code of #1. PET is used for such packaging as plastic soda bottles. Unfortunately, the recycling market for color PET is still somewhat weak and a number of recycling programs do not accept the PET products. Check with your local recycling organizations in your area to see if you can recycle the trays. We chose this type of tray for our LEAN CUISINE® frozen entrées because of its superior performance in both conventional and microwave oven environments.
	What causes ice crystals to form on top of the product?
	Ice crystals occur naturally on frozen products; however, excessive crystals — creating a snowy appearance — can indicate the storage temperature fluctuated.
	My microwave doesn’t have 50% power. How do I microwave your products properly?
	Fifty-percent power is the same as power level 5, medium, medium-low and in some cases, the defrost settings on microwaves. If your microwave only has one setting, you can heat the product on high for half the amount of time, then check it. If it is not done, continue cooking on high but check every 30-60 seconds to keep it from overcooking.
	The polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and saturated fat grams do not add up to the total fat grams on the package. What happened to the “missing” grams?
	The fat listed on our package accounts for all the fat in the product, including the polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and saturated fat. However, the three fats may not add up to the total because the balance is made up of unclassified fats such as triglycerides, glycerol and trans-fatty acids.
	The cheese on my LEAN CUISINE® French Bread Pizza does not melt completely or as nicely as the STOUFFER’S® French Bread Pizza. Why?
	The cheese we use on LEAN CUISINE® pizzas is a low-fat cheese, which is lower in cholesterol than most other cheeses and does not have the same melting characteristics.
	When did you become part of Nestlé and when was LEAN CUISINE® launched?
	The STOUFFER’S Corporation, which dates back to the 1920s, launched its frozen foods division in 1954. Nestlé acquired STOUFFER’S Corporation in 1973 and LEAN CUISINE® was launched in 1981 as part of STOUFFER’S.
	How do I change my email address on LeanCuisine.com?
	First, go to www.LeanCuisine.com and click the SIGN IN at the upper right margin of the homepage. On the next screen, enter your current email address and password in the form and click the SIGN IN button. After you are signed in, click the MY INFO button located in the upper right margin of the screen. You’ll be presented with an editable form showing your current contact information. You will find your current email address in the first column of options under your last name. Delete your current address from this field and enter your new address. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom, center of your screen. If you have successfully saved your new email, you will receive a thank you message from LeanCuisine.com. If you wish to sign out, please click the SIGN OUT button at the upper right side of your screen.
	Why can't I prepare your products in a toaster oven?
	Our development staff doesn’t recommend a toaster oven because of its small size and the proximity of the heating element to the container.
	Do you have coupons available?
	We offer coupons in local papers, through direct mailing programs and via emails to registered members. We don’t have a regular section on our website itself. We suggest you watch for sales or promotions at your local grocery store.
	Why is the sodium level in your products so high?
	The sodium levels for our LEAN CUISINE® products were set after examining sodium intake guidelines for healthy adults. The 2005 Dietary Guidelines from the U. S. Food & Drug Administration advise that healthy adults should limit their sodium intake to 2,300 mg daily. Although LEAN CUISINE® is not required to meet any government regulations on sodium restrictions, we maintain a self-imposed guideline to ensure great taste and good health for you. 	What is difference between sodium and salt?
	"Salt" usually refers to table salt, technically known as sodium chloride. Salt contains about 40% sodium and 60% chloride. "Sodium" refers to a specific mineral, which happens to be part of common table salt. It is sodium, not salt, that is usually studied in relation to health issues.
	How much sodium is contained in a teaspoon of salt?
	One teaspoon of salt contains 2,000 mg of sodium.
